The Rolls-Royce of Forex Trading for High Profit Strategies
The new version of ForexGM-v6.4 is now available.
This version combines all the features of previous releases — Express, Advanced and Professional. At the end of December 2022, we discontinued the sale of perpetual licenses for all ForexGM products. Any new licenses issued will have an expiry date between 3 months and 12 months from the date of purchase. This licensing change is accompanied by a DRAMATIC reduction in pricing, thus providing a low cost entry-point to investigate the extensive list of ForexGM features. Support will continue for existing perpetual licenses until the end of 2023, and possibly beyond.
As well as the updated MetaTrader 4 version with various new features, a brand new MetaTrader 5 (Hedging) version is also available. Both MT4 and MT5 versions of ForexGM v6.4 have identical input parameters.

We recommend that Traders start by thoroughly investigating ForexGM v6.4 strategies on a Demo Account before applying them on a Live Account. This should allow ample time to confirm profitability and quantify the downside risk that is unavoidably associated with trading at all levels. One of the purchase options we offer combines licenses for both MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 versions. The MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester in far more accurate than that for MetaTrader 4, and performs tests very much faster. A customer might wish to experiment with strategies using a Demo MetaTrader 5 Account, and then transfer successful strategies to run on a Live MetaTrader 4 Account.
Feature List | ForexGM v6.2 | ForexGM v6.4 |
All new licenses allow trading on a total of 5 separate MetaTrader Accounts. For Live Account licenses, a mix can include both Demo and Live Accounts with various Brokers. Each ForexGM license supports trading on up to 5 separate MetaTrader Terminals
Combined ForexGM licenses for Metatrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 can run on a total of 10 accounts, as long as each is registered with the same Account Name. Combined MT4 and MT5 licenses will permit trading on up to 10 MetaTrader installations
Fixed-Center grids function as might be expected, but Moving-Center grids are a little more complex. Please refer to the latest reference manual for a detailed explanation. Support for Fixed-Center and Moving-Center grids
This feature means that strategies running on different charts within the same MetaTrader terminal can operate independently, each trading with a specifically allocated proportion of Account-Equity. ChartEquity apportions Account-Equity for Portfolios and Margin Protection
In addition to the option to limit trading to a percentage of Account-Equity, this parameter sets the maximum amount available for trade on a particular chart at the start of each run. Maximum ChartEquity setting to limit risk for each ForexGM strategy
Please consult the current Reference Manual for details on the options available. Many of these features have been inherited from the previous Advanced version of ForexGM. Full set of Order Controls, including Trailing-Stops, Profit/Loss Targets
Mechanism to allow fine-grained control over trading times. The parameters can be set on individual charts, or terminal-wide using the ForexGM Profile. Create Strategies tied to Economic-News events or specific time intervals
Many settings are available to specify how to handle both profit-close and loss-close events. Optional Automatic Restart after Close-Run, individually for both Profit and Loss
Most trading events occurring within ForexGM have the option to notify the trader in various ways. These setting are controlled either on a chart basis, or system-wide using the ForexGM Profile. Extensive list of events that can trigger notification — Sound, Alert, Email
This is certainly not ForexGM's most significant feature, but it is extremely convenient to be able to change time-frames in an active trading environment. Strategies are based on 1 minute time-frames, and are not dependent on the actual time-frame chosen for any particular chart. Switch Time-Frames while active without affecting trading
A handy feature of ForexGM is the Profile which allows some parameters to be set on a system-wide basis. Color preferences, Alert options, Logging functions, can be set once to apply to all instances of ForexGM in the terminal. For the Testing environment, a separate Profile can be configured if required. Common Profile applied to all ForexGM instances in the same terminal
Hedge-Grids are controlled by settings that largely mirror those for Main-Grids. The logic behind having a Hedge-Grid is to allow a rapid (and automatic) switch of strategy when a significant change in price-trend is identified. Main-Grids and Hedge-Grids can operate independently, although they work in conjunction when controlled by the Close-Run mechanism. ForexGM simultaneously trades two grids on the same chart, Main Grid plus a Hedge Grid
In ForexGM parlance, a “spike” occurs whenever a preset limit for either price-range or number-of-trades is reached within a predefined period. Note that a Spike is handled quite differently for the Main-Grid and the Hedge-Grid. It is possible to configure ForexGM to open a Hedge-Grid on a Spike, and pause or close the Main-Grid at the same time. Sophisticated Spike-Protection options, including Close Run and Open Hedge
As well as separate settings for control of profit-close or loss-close, options include Delayed Start (seconds), Restart Pips Up/Down, and Restart after Retrace. The variations can be quite interesting, and we recommend checking the Reference Manual Multiple Restart-Options that can be set differently for Profit or Loss Close-Runs
Whenever Account-Currency is not the same as Quote-Currency, a lot-size adjustment that depends upon current Conversion-Pair price might be required. Normalization can be disabled if not required. Please note that this feature has been deprecated in v6.4 and later. Normalization integrates Account-Currency and Conversion-Pair calculations
While we intend to provide the best support possible to all clients, priority will be given to those who purchased the versions of ForexGM to run on Live MetaTrader Accounts. Priority Support for active ForexGM Licenses on Live Accounts
Various options have been added to dynamically set Hedge-Grid parameters depending on the situation that exists at the time it is initialized. Hedge-Grid parameters Synchronized or Asynchronized with the Main-Grid
New options have been added to trigger opening of the Hedge-Grid. These include Main-Grid Offset Pips and Main-Grid Loss Percent Additional Triggers to open Hedge-Grid in response to Main-Grid status
Forex trading traditionally had quite small pip values. Cryto-Currency trading broke that model. ForexGM can handle large pip-values, but to ease the process of set-file interchange between trading types, we introduced the Pip Multiplier. Pip Multiplier added to accommodate large values for Crypto trading
